Booklists/Uniforms/Fees

26/06/2017 15:25

Booklists have been sent home with your child's report. We have tried to keep costs to a minimum, and have made a conscious effort to reduce the number of workbooks in accordance with a directive recently issued by the Department of Education & Skills.

Please bring a copy of your child's booklist to the bookshop when purchasing texts. This is important as in some cases we have modified the booklist of individual children to recognise their particular learning/educational needs.

Uniforms school jumpers are available to purchase from the school.

School Fees Each year we ask the families of children attending the school to pay a reasonable fee to help us to provide various resources and services for the children. Last year we introduced a new system to try to ensure that all families paid the schools fees, and this proved popular with parents and substantially increased the income from fees. We will be retaining fees at the same level as last year.

Fees can be paid all in one instalment or through two instalments on or before June 28th and September. Please call in to the office if you have any questions.

These fees go towards Rental books, Homework Diary, Art/Craft materials, P.E./Sport, Transport, Shows and Pupil Personal Accident Insurance.

A draw for all those who have paid fees will be held on Friday 30th September, with the lucky winners receiving a voucher for Dinner for two in one of the local hotels.

We will be continuing with the envelope system from Monday 6th October. The weekly prize money will be increased and funds raised will be used to purchase resources and equipment for the children.
