David Gillick at the County Final Athletics

Double European Gold medalist  David Gillick was on hand to present medals at the county final athletics in the Finn Valley on the 24^th May.

Our pupils were one of the lucky schools to get their photo taken with him. He was very generous with his time and he told the children that enjoying themselves was the most important part of the day.

He was extremely impressed with the facilities available for the children on the day, and the standard being achieved by the children. It was a great honour to meet such a successful athlete.
