January 2011 - New Beginings....

It's a time when many adults make New Year's resolutions to change some part of their lives. This month can also be a time for children to use that same idea in their school work.

January brings a new term of school, and it's a good time to talk with your child about a new beginning.

Maybe now is the time to increase study time in English or to organize the maths. Now may be the time to ask a teacher about extra help. Let your child know it's never too late to start fresh school work habits.

The teacher will notice and be pleased. Keep encouraging the changes your student makes for a new beginning. Soon those changes will be part of the usual routine.
