Congratulations to our weekend winners

Congratulations to all the girls that took part in the All-Ireland National Track and Field Championships in Tullamore on Saturday 24th June.

The girls were Ríona Doherty, Maria Kelly, Amy Galvin, Emily Kelly, Tia McMenamin, Chelsea Gallagher (absent), Derbhlá Bogle, Holly McNulty and Sophie Galvin.

Well done also to Amy (U-11) and Sophie (U-9) who both were individually placed 6th in the Turbo Javelin and to Ríona who was individually placed 1st in the Long Jump and 1st in the sprints in Under-11 competitions.

Ríona and Derbhlá also took part in the Irish National Irish Dancing Competitions on Friday 23rd and Sunday 25th June. Well done to both girls on this wonderful achievement. Ríona was placed 19th and Derbhlá was placed 54th in this elite competition.
