Proclamation Day

Schools throughout the country will mark the centenary of the 1916 Rising next Tuesday, 15th March. Our flag raising ceremony will take place at 11:15am in the Infant yard, which is accessible from the Drumboe Entrance to the school. The ceremony will include a reading of the Proclamation and the singing of the National Anthem. All parents and friends are invited to attend. My thanks to Mrs. Teresa McNulty who has co-ordinated the events to mark the centenary of the Rising.
