Mrs Burke and Ms Mc Nulty's Classes enjoyed finding out about the fish in our waters from Michael Cosgrove, Riverwatch, Derry. To find out more click on the link https://www.loughs-agency.org/ . He discussed water pollution, local rivers, types of Marine life. He showed two short videos; one on general marine life, loughs and rivers in the area , and the other specific to the life-cycle of the salmon. He presented three different starfish, an urchin and a whelk; the children got the opportunity to touch each. He asked many questions and also answered many questioins the children posed. it was a very informative, relevant presentation and the children realy enjoyed it.
