The sixth class pupils from our school and Dooish National School raised money for a school in Africa to purchase uniforms. To raise money the pupils held a very successful coffee morning in the Parish Centre, they also took part in in-school fundraisers, secret sound and no homework night. This was part of their Confirmation preparation in learning to work for a better world. In total they raised a total of €1400.

Thanks to everyone who supported these events and to Sr. Deirdre Mullan, Director of Mercy Global Concern and represents the Sisters of Mercy at the United Nations in New York. who presented us with our certificates.
