Congratulations to Ríona and Aisling

Dermot and Sharon from Finn Valley athletic club visited our school to select the "Fastest Feet" in our school. It was very exciting watching the boys and girls running over a 30 metre distance and waiting for the results. In the U12 boys Fastest feet were Jamie Gavigan and Dan Donnelly. U12 girls were Riona Doherty and Maria Kelly. In the U10 boys Noah Boyle and Ronan Mc Fadden were the fastest while Aisling O Donnell and Zara Thompson were fastest in the U10 girls. These children all represented the school in a county wide competition in the Finn Valley centre this evening. The standard was extremely high with huge numbers competing in all categories. The school was very proud of all of the children. There was a huge cheer for both girls Aisling and Ríona when it was announced that they had won Donegal's fastest feet in the U10 and U12 girls competition. Well Done girls. Brilliant running. A huge achievement. Congratulations.
