Two teams represented our school took part in the competition.

Ms.Mc Nulty's pupils presented a product called “HAY-VEN” which is a product that keeps hay dry and thus saves farmers time and money.
Ms.Doherty's pupils presented a product called “The Little Girl Cash Carrier” which is a girl-shaped portable money box that cannot be stolen.
The entrepreneurs began the day with some ice-breakers with Mr Mc Daid. After that they had a talk with our mentors who were local business people.
After a quick snack we presented our products to the jugdes.
Peter Casey - Dragon's Den, Michael Margey - LYIT and
Donna Maskery - The Base. Our teams did our school proud by demonstrating excellent public speaking skills and creativity and imagination in creating such innovative products.
After we gave our “pitch” each team faced tough questions from the panel of judges. We impressed everyone with our ability to answer so well under pressure.
After a few games with Mr.Mc Daid they announced the winners.
It was a great experience and we all had a wonderful day.
