Kellogg's Cul Camp Dream Day Out

Cathal Cannon, Ms. Gallagher's 1st Class, was 1 of 240 lucky boys and girls whose dream of playing on the hallowed turf of Croke Park came through on Wednesday 10th October.

82,000 children took part in the Kellogg’s Cul Camps during the summer and 240 of them were randomly selected to have a dream day out.  Cathal initially had a skills session on the pitch with Brid Stack, a member of the Cork Senior Ladies gaelic football team that has won 7 of the last 8 All Ireland Finals.

He then took part in a match, coached by Seamus Moynihan, the legendary Kerry centre-half back.

Cathal, and his sister Aisling, Mr. Cheevers 3rd Class, who was allowed to go along to experience the day, were then treated to a tour of the Croke Park Museum before going back out onto the pitch for a picture with the Sam Maguire and Liam McCarthy cups.

They also got to meet Snap, Crackle and Pop from Kelloggs and got to sit in Michael Cahill's seat on the 2FM Roadcaster.
