Our Quiz Team does it again!

Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil Quiz County Finals 2014.

On Thursday 6th March, the school quiz team travelled to the Mount Errigal Hotel where we competed in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil Quiz County Final. There we competed against 30 other school in ten rounds of Gaelic, Irish, Sport, music and general knowledge questions. After the first five rounds we were joint first with 45 points out of 50. The quiz continued but there could only be one winner. In first was Kilmacrennon with 85 points out of 100. In second, joint on 81 was Sessiaghineill and Scoil Mhuire, Stranorlar and in Fourth on 79 was Dungloe. Dungloe were lucky to qualify as they were in a three way tie before five more questions. All teams now go on to the Ulster Finals in Irvinstown, Co. Fermanagh on the 25th March. The quiz team would like to thank Ms Long, Ms. Moy, Mrs Mc.Nulty and Mr. Keating for time and effort they have put in over the last few months. We would also like to thank Mrs. Cannon for taking photographs of the team.

Congratulations again to our wonderful Quiz Team who were placed 2nd in the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil Quiz in the Mount Errigal on the 6th March. They will now go on to represent our school in the Ulster Finals in Co.Fermanagh.
