Parents' Association

The Annual General Meeting of the Parents' Association was held on Tuesday 2nd October.

 

Frankie Quinn, Chairperson of the Board of Management, addressed the audience and thanked the Parents' Association for their efforts over the previous year. He highlighted the campaign that has begun to progress the new school project and he encouraged parents to assist in the campaign.

 

The minutes of the previous Annual General Meeting were read by Kathleen Phelan, Secretary of the Parents' Association and Dolores Doherty, Treasurer delivered the financial report.The Chairperson of the Parents' Association Bryan Cannon gave a report outlining the work carried out by the out-going committee over the previous year.

 

Mr. Keating, Principal, updated parents on the status of the campaign for the new school and advised parents that their assistance would be required to lobby various elected representatives.

 

A new Parents' Association Committee was established and their first meeting will be held in the school on Thursday 11th October at 8pm.

 

Thank you to all parents who returned the information slip distributed as part of the invite to the AGM. All returned slip were entered into a draw that took place on the night. Congratulations to Sophia Long and Luke Kilcoyne who each won a €25 voucher sponsored by the Book Centre in Ballybofey.
