Scallywag Puppet show

with Paul McNulty. A group of 2nd class children attended a Puppet Show organised as part of this year’s Wainfest, County Donegal’s largest arts and books festival for children & young people. Which is in its sixteenth year.

Wainfest is a highly successful Children’s Book Festival; a national celebration and promotion of books, which takes place in libraries throughout Ireland during October. The Scallywag Puppets is an x-Factor show with a difference; Mickey & Minnie Mouse, Lady Ga Ga, Shrek & Donkey, Justin Beiver, Jedward and the Lion King. Oh and special guest star judges Simple Simon and Foxy Cool. The workshop is designed to highlight social inclusion as one of the European Unions key priorities. The children really enjoyed the show.
