Quiz Team

On Tuesday 25th March, the school quiz team travelled to the Ulster Finals of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscoil Quiz in Irvinstown, Co. Fermanagh. There they competed against 35 other teams in ten rounds of Gaelic, Irish, Sport, music and general knowledge questions and were placed 4th overall.

That evening they took part in the Garda District Quiz in Loretto Convent, Letterkenny. They were up against 15 teams and had 6 rounds and won 1st place. They received a plaque and jacket each as their prizes. Congratulations to the members of the quiz team and their teachers and parents on such a wonderful achievement. 

They will go on to represent the school in the Garda County Quiz on the 10th of April in Loretto at 7:30pm.  We wish them every success.
