Recycling Centre Visit
As part of science week a number of our classes went to Stranorlar amenity centre for a tour around the recycling centre. There the children learned about recycling of our waste. Below are some photos and two children's memory of the day. Thank you to the operators of the site. We walked over to Stranorlar Recycling Centre. We met Shane and Mick. They showed us around. We saw mobile phones. We saw T.V's and computers. We even learned fun facts and learned that milk cartons can actually make handbags. We saw scrap metal, cardboard boxes, cartons, gas bottles, batteries, flourescent tubes, large appliances, clothes and tyres. Thank you. The End.
