Roald Dahl Day

The Children from Ms.Moy's and Mrs. Flanagan's 2nd Classes celebrated Roald Dahl Day recently. The children dressed up as a variety of characters from some of their favourite Roald Dahl stories and they all looked wonderful. There were characters from 'Matilda', 'George's Marvellous Medicine', 'Fantastic Mr.Fox', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'The BFG'.

This year marked the centenary of Roald Dahl's birth, and the children from both classes learned all about the life of Roald Dahl.

The children were treated to a very special reading of 'Fantastic Mr. Fox' by one of Roald Dahl's biggest fans, Mr.Keating.

Afterwards, it was time for a few treats fort the children and a chance to see the movie 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.
