Science Workshop

A group of 1st and 2nd class children attended a science workshop organised as part of this year’s Wainfest, County Donegal’s largest arts and books festival for children & young people. Which is in its sixteenth year.

The children met Dr.James on his magical journey of science discovery. Dr. James needed lots of volunteers to help him demonstrate some of the science behind some really cool circus tricks, amazing colour changes and explosions! He also made water disappear, turned straws into musical oboes and send Peppa Pig into space.

Wainfest is a highly successful Children’s Book Festival; a national celebration and promotion of books, which takes place in libraries throughout Ireland during October.
