Weekend Winners- Athletics

Congratulations to all the children that took part in the Ulster and N.I Athletic Championships which took place in Magherafelt over the first weekend of February.

Pictured below are Leah McMonagle, C.J. Doherty, Luka Browne and Lauren O'Donnell and missing from the picture, Ryan Galvin all who took part and had great success in the competition.

Leah won Bronze in the High Jump, Silver in the Long Jump, 4th Place in the 60m Sprint and Gold in the U-12 Girls Relay team.

C.J won Bronze in the High Jump and 4th place in the Long Jump.

Luka was placed 4th in the 60 Sprint, 6th Place in the Long Jump and Silver in the U-12 Relay.

Lauren took part in the Long Jump, Relay, 14th in the 600m and Gold in the U-12 Relay.

Ryan took part in the Long Jump, High Jump, Hurdles and took Gold in the Relay.

Well done to all our pupils for taking part and congratulations on your sucesses.

We wish them all the very best of luck as they now prepare for the All-Ireland competitions on the 11th, 12th and 13th March in Athlone.
