Willy Wonka visits St.Mary's

Willy Wonka visited the school to present a golden ticket to one very lucky child in our school. There was only 5 tickets up for grabs in Ulster. The lucky winner of a Golden ticket receives a VIP room at the Eclipse Lifford Cinema, all you can eat from their food counter for 5 family members or friends. The lucky boy to win a ticket is Kelan Browne in Ms Gallen's 5th Class. Kelan was very surprised when Willy Wonka walked in to his classroom and announced that he was the winner of the creative writing competition. Kelan had to write about what it would be like if Willy Wonka owned the cinema. Willy Wonka gave all the children in Kelan's class a chocolate bar and even had some for Mr.Keating and Ms Gallen! Well done to Kelan on his excellent achievement and enjoy your VIP day out.
